The policeman is a well-known person. We

Patiently in times of disturbance.
Sometimes his life is at risk. He is a humble
Servent of the society. We must respect the police

The Wakadamulla quarry

The Wakadamulla quarry is situated in the beautiful village called Damahana. The Wakadamulla tank and paddy fields are in the same area as the quarry. A scenic path through the quarry leads to the thick forest that lies above the quarry.
When the rock in this quarry is blasted a thunder like sound surrounds the whole village. Birds and animals are frightened by this noise are scatter throughout the forest.
The Quarry owner is M.L. Ariyapala. Around nine to ten people are employed under him. Mr. Ariyapala has his own lorry. Lorries and tractors frequency come to the quarry to Trans port stones and rubble to various destinations in the area.

Pretty colours. I tried my best to count them.
Then I saw seven colours it the rainbow. They
Are violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange,
And red how beautifully arranged and set in
The sky they are.

Very often we hear of   floods. Rivers and

       Seen a flood.
                          Floods sometimes cause damage to
        Houses property fields and gardens. Sometimes
        A flood can kill people and animals. We hear
        Of floods which are destructive. We have minor
        Floods in our country. Water flows through our
        Gardens and houses. Sometimes it. Is difficult to
        Get drinking water when there is a flood. We cannot
        Go to work when roads are under water. A flood is an
        Interesting incident for the small children.

The    Farmer grows paddy in the fields
Our main food is rice we get our rice form
He paddy plant the farmer is a very inprtant
Man becose he grows paddy for all.
                                  First he loosens the soil
Of buffaloes then he prepares the fields by
Making I muddy. Paddy grows well in a muddy.
The farmer adds manure to the Field.
                               The paddy is ripe ofter tree
To fourmobths.the farmer is very happy then
He invites his friends to help him they get
Together and harvest the field after harvesting
The farmer brings paddy home.

I have a pet. It is a dog. I got it on my birth day as a present form my uncle. Then
it was a small pup. But now it is a big dog. It has long fur. It likes white. It has a long
Tail. It Likes meat very much. It does not eat rice without meat. It is fierce. It bites
People don’t like to come to our house. It doesn’t like to bathe when I say come
to bathe it runs away. It is very faithful. It waits on the door step till I come when
it sees me it comes with me. It is very useful. It guards our house

So on this day. People illuminateTheir hoses, and Surrounding with vesak Lanterns Bulbs, and get they put up big pandalls this pedals’ are brightly. Illuminated and show various Jathaka stories. On vesak Night the streets are full of peoples. The all go to see the vesak decorations. It is a very Happy and peaceful day.. ..VESAK….
